You might prefer a slim artificial Christmas tree when it comes to decorating your home, and that’s fine. People choose this kind of tree for a number of reasons, but they all share one thing in common: they want something tall and narrow that doesn’t take a lot of space. Fortunately, there are various techniques to make a paper version of such a tree.
Decorative Paper Trees
Decorative paper can be used to create an artificial Christmas tree. Crepe paper is the most popular kind since it is readily available, affordable, and comes in a variety of colors and patterns. Simply wrap the crepe paper around a cardboard base that has been cut into the shape of your tree trunk to make this kind of tree. Then begin wrapping, working your way down, until all of the branches are covered. After that, attach the ends with hot glue or staples to prevent them from unraveling over time.

You can make use of newspaper, tissue paper, or wrapping paper. You can easily find all of them at your neighborhood craft or dollar store.
Cut the paper into strips that are long enough to wrap around the base of your tree as the first step. Your tree’s width and the amount of space you have for the strips to overlap each other will determine how wide they are.
Then, using hot glue or another adhesive, you should stick them to the tree’s foundation. If you apply too much glue to each strip, it will be challenging to eventually cover it entirely with more strips.
Next is to fill in all of the spaces between each paper strip that are still visible after adhering all of your strips to the tree’s base. This time, however, we’re going to wrap them around the current ones before adhering them all together rather than directly attaching them to the base. To ensure that everything stays in place, double-sided tape is advised rather than hot glue.

1. Begin by rolling a piece of paper into a cone. After that, tape the cone to your table by chopping off the bottom of the cone.
2. Next, decorate your tree with paper snowflakes and other forms that you’ve cut out. If you desire, you can leave some areas clear for lights or other decorations.
3. To ensure that no light can pass through the various pieces of paper on your tree, fill up any gaps with glue. If you’re going to use glue, try switching to double-sided tape so that when your tree is finished, the sides won’t show glue through!
4. Lastly, use stickers or other ornaments to embellish your tree!
